Directions

FROM FALLINGWATER

– Cars:   Go south on 381 through Ohio Pyle for 4 miles.   Turn right at the state park sign across the Meadow Run Bridge.   Follow winding road up a steep hill for 1.5 miles.   Turn left at the intersection.   Kentuck Knob is located .08 miles on the left.

– Buses:   Go south on 381 to RT 40 (approximately 10 miles).   Turn right, following RT 40 west to the Chalk Hill/Ohio Pyle Road (3.8 miles).   Turn right on the Chalk Hill/Ohio Pyle Road.   Kentuck Knob is located 6 miles on the right.   When you turn on Chalk Hill/Ohio Pyle Road the road splits about ¼ mile and you will stay to the LEFT.

FROM TURNPIKE:

Traveling West: Exit 9 (Donegal).   Go East on route 31 (approximately 2.5 miles) to route 381.   Follow directions from Fallingwater. (Approximately 45 minutes)

Traveling East: Exit 8 (New Stanton).   Go South on Route 119 to Uniontown.   Go East on US 40 to Chalk Hill.   Turn left on Chalk Hill/Ohio Pyle Road and go 6 miles.   Kentuck Knob is located on your right. (Approximately 1 hour)

From Downtown Pittsburgh:   Go South on Route 51 to Uniontown.   Turn right on bypass. (119 South to 40 East)   Take 40 East to Chalk Hill.   Turn left on Chalk Hill/Ohio Pyle Road.   Kentuck Knob is located 6 miles on the right. (Approximately 1.5 hours)

From Greater Pittsburgh International Airport:   Take airport parkway toward Pittsburgh.   Exit parkway on Interstate 79 South.   Follow 79 South to Interstate 70.   Go East on 70 to exit 37A (toll road 43 - California exit).   Go South on 43 to US 40 East.   Follow US 40 East to Chalk Hill.   Turn left on Chalk Hill/Ohio Pyle Road and go 6 miles.   Kentuck Knob is on the right.
